I've recently spoken with a newly hired California State Park Peace Officer who reports that while there is no polygraph requirement, he was required to submit to a voice stress analysis "test" as part of the application process.

I am currently researching becoming a CA SPPO, nowhere on the application website or in the specifications do I see if they polygraph. Does anyone know if they do? I'm weary to ask recruitment. I'm considering sending a dummy account question to the recruiter e-mail asking if they utilize a polygraph.
