Well in my situation i told the truth on a post conviction Polygraph and they said i flat out lied. So after that I had to do SO classes yuck so my lawyer told me to go with the flow and I did I didn't know about this website but I figured If i was telling the truth originally then i would start lying on future polygraphs hell I didnt change anything had computers when I wasn't supposed to saw hookers porn did what I pleased but i was careful so then when it came time for the polygraph I simply went in and flat out lied on every question except for the control questions and i went on to pass 8 straight polygraphs. Then I finished up the class and I was released from classes and probation so long story short I was convicted of a he said she said situation and it was my fault as far as going to the cops telling my side and got screwed over royally now I don't trust cops nor will i ever help them I despise them. Oh and the polygraphs are nothing more then a witchhunt and moneymaker i don't care what anyone says whether your a SO or not this system is useless it doesn't help anyone!!

For all those wondering...

I passed my polygraph examination. There were some things I lied about (control questions, not relevant questions) and I used a countermeasure on some of those control questions. I have to say that in my opinion and experience, countermeasures assisted in preventing a false positive. That is what TLBTLD is supposed to assist with, and it did.

AllieB,

I am an APA credentialed examiner who has administered countless such "tests" on convicted sexual offenders.

Know this: Polygraph "testing" is a crap shoot.

However, from what you have described, it looks like you passed the "test".

That said, one never knows -- for a variety of reasons.

For additional insight into your situation, call me at 603-801-5179 between 9AM and 5PM EST.

I just took a sexual history polygraph a few days ago. I had nothing to lie about, so didn't have to lie about anything - but still used a countermeasure on a couple obvious control questions to help prevent a false positive from occurring. After testing, I didn't press him about if i passed or not, because I assume I did - and wanted him to get the impression I wasn't worried about failing anyway.

The polygrapher said, after testing, 'the results look good', and there was no post test interview... he literally unstrapped me, and I was out the door in like 3 minutes.

Does it sound to you like I passed? That is the impression I got....
