I can't think of anyone more deserving of this year's Nobel Peace Prize than Edward Snowden, who was last year's recipient of the Sam Adams Award for Integrity in Intelligence:

I noticed this morning a report stating that Mr. Snowden has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Price. 

Although many are nominated and he is a long way away from being awarded such, wouldn't it be quite ironic if he were--

(1) so relatively soon after President Obama was so awarded and 

(2) in view of their different roles and perspectives regarding the NSA's data collection activities and how Mr. Snowden should be viewed as a result of his release of government documents related to these activities...

Fascinating on many levels...Mr. Snowden would appear to be a quite articulate and thoughtful young man--considerably more so than previous media coverage coming to my attention had suggested...
