I think it would be a waste of time to apply to the CIA.

What they promise and what they actually do in the area of employment selection are wholly different. >:(

I'm an Ivy League-educated USMC veteran and a 38 year-old professional interested in a career move to the CIA clandestine service. I've read that age waivers can be obtained for applicants over 35. Is this true? If so, how does one secure a waiver? Would my four years of active duty in the military aid me in this process? Is it even worth my time to apply? Any help would be appreciated.
