The SF86 is completed before the polygraph examination.  Good luck in your quest.

Hi looking for some help here from someone who has applied recently to the CIA.  My question is do you have to fill out the SF 86 as part of the application / before the polygraph?

The reason why I ask is that on the online application it specifically states not to include convictions for which you have an expungment.  In the SF 86 it tells you to include convictions regardless of if it is expunged..  I have something I would like to get expunged but its gonna take 5-6 months.  Trying to figure out if it makes sense to wait.  I feel like it could be a breaking point in my app, but if they are going to see it anyway when I submit the SF 86, I don't see any reason wait for the expungment just so I can leave it off the online app.. Any thoughts?

Tks
