Just to be a little more clear, the examiner said "I MAY (keyword) have to come back and take a 2nd exam". It was never confirmed and I have not been contacted for a 2nd yet. You guys still feel the same on my chances?

You made admissions, you were told you would be retested.  i would wait and take the second examination, your admissions did not disqualify you or the second examination would not have been offered.  Good luck in your quest.

The polygraph technique does not allow for calling individual questions deceptive. The entire exam must be scored as either Deception Indicated, No Deception Indicated or Inconclusive. Pointing out certain questions that you may have had reactions to is an interrogation, not a PDD exam. You were simply tricked into making admissions. As far as how it affects your chances of future employment, I have no experience in this area and will leave it to others to comment.

I took a poly a little while ago and everything was going fine in the beginning and they asked me is there anything I wanted to admit to before we get started? I said no. The problem here is I  did have have some things that I was completely upfront with on the sf86. I still chose to keep it to myself. After the exam, the examiner detected deception and asked what am I thinking about and asked me to speak on why I could have possibly failed on some questions. Being a complete idiot, I made admissions. The admissions were on how many times i smoked pot, i stole $300 from a cash draw (I put on the sf86 that $300 was missing from my draw but i didnt take it), and that I stole 2000 from my mom at one point. She asked a couple more questions to get as much info about the admissions as possible. She then recorded the admissions on a voice recorder and made me confirm that what she was saying on the recorder was accurate. We basically wrapped it up and she said I will need to come back for a 2nd poly because the results for this 1st one were not too good. With that being said, here are my questions:

Does the fact that I lied automatically disqualify me?

Does me giving admissions mean I am done for as far as this getting approved? 

Does she saying the I will have to come back for another really mean that or was she just saying that?

What do you think of my overall chances of getting approved?

Will this kill my chances of getting a high level clearance in the future?
