Okay, I didn't follow your advice.  I was offered a polygraph on a complaint made by a private citizen.  As a police applicant I had taken one, so no big deal right.  I took this test based on the citizen's complaint and the results were no deception.  I didn't control anything, answered their questions truthfully and passed (I was given a chance to review the report.)  My Lt. just told me they have no intention of using the polygraph results as part of the internal review.  Ouch.

So tell me again why they even offered the polygraph.  Oh wait, they were waiting for a different result and go into an interrogation.  Sorry guys, nothing there, but nice try.
