They may find the application and subsequent report when the investigator goes to all the LE agencies in the areas where you have lived. if the Agency pulled a credit report that may also identify the agency.  I would think if you are pretty close on the time frame for last usage you will be ok.. You can explain the answers during your security interview.

In 2006 I was DQed from my local PD for using MJ to close to the time I applied. 

Was my application put in to any databases that Federal Background Investigators would be able to find?  Would they even be looking for it?

It's been about 10 years since I last used but I can't remember the EXACT dates I said I used since I just guesstimated.  I'm worried they won't jive if I apply for a security clearance in the military.
