From what I've read, you may never get an answer because each case is different and there is no standard length.  A lot depends on how old you are and how much life experiences you've had (i.e., like if you have lived in many places or just one or two).

Does anybody know how long it takes to get clearance from NSA/CIA. Its been going on for over year a now. Taken five poly's. Background and everything is done.
