I've never heard of military personnel being involuntarily assigned to a posting that required a full-scope polygraph. I believe that in full-scope polygraphs, the examinee is questioned about any illegal drug use ever.

I've read that the majority of polygraphs for active duty military are CI only, but I was wondering about the ones that actually include lifestyle type questions.

Are the majority of the jobs that require full scope poly volunteer only type jobs? What types of jobs would require something like that? Are the questions pertaining to marijuana use all referring to the past 7 years?
