Here's an interesting developement. I recently requested a copy of all information to the polygrapher who tested me. By all info I mean the questions, the results, anything that I either signed or did not sign that is relevant to my session, and the video taken at the time of the test.
The polygrapher called back and esentially refused to send anything but the results themself. I find this in violation of my right to break confidentiality. Ths guy is extremely arrogant!
How about it folks; Do I have any right to obtain the information I requested? Any thoughts? :-?

Keep us informed. Polygraphers think they are immune from lawsuits and feel that they can apply their own agenda.

I am not a lawyer but, a polygrapher has no authority to test you on anything but your conviction program. The other completely different issue is totally out of bounds for him. I think this is ripe for a damage suit. If you are strapped for cash and can't find a contingency attorney, contack your nearest ACLU.

I hope you have learned to do what I have done on 2 occasions. I received what was indicated, by the title, as child porn. I called the FBI office, got a link and without opening the trash sent it directly to them. I hope I was a help in putting the perverted sender in prison.

I recently was sentenced to a misdemeanor. As part of that I was p[ut on probation and told that I had to undergo a psychosexual assesment and if they considered counseling to be needed that I would have to submit to that. Well of course the cash cow was hungry so here I am almost 9 months later and stuck in counseling with a room full of sexual offenders.
Now before anyone tweaks out and starts judging the book by the cover I want to clear up a couple of things. I was arrested and charged with one count of child porn on my computer. I have long argured that this was a result of another persons actions but as fate would dictate It was my computer and I was charged. I don't have a lot of money so I had to use a P.D. to help me. As a result I was left with no choice but to plead no contest and submit to the courts rule.
That being said I was ordered to undergo the psych assesmant and to attend counseling if the assesor said I had to go. Naturally they said I had to go and now I am paying for something that is normally reserved for sexual offenders. Please understand that I have no sexual offender status or conviction.
At any rate; Once I get to counseling they tell me that I have to submit to polygraph testing as part of the counseling. After saving anmd scrimping for several months I finally got the money to do what I thought was the right thing and take this test. When I get to the location for the test I am told by the polygrapher that there was an entirely different reason to undergo this test. The reasons he stated have to do with a seperate civil issue. Although I smelled a rat I submitted to the test out of fear that I would be violated and sent to jail.
Was this test legal? Do I have a right to obtain a copy of the results and the questions?
Any advice would be helpful. If you need more info please ask.
One more thing; I like to think I have an incredible sense of humor but please be kind in your replies as I have a lot to lose or gain on whatever kind of data I can obtain regarding this.
Thanks to all of you in advance.  :)
