Tony,

I can recall only one person who has reported passing an FBI pre-employment polygraph "re-test" after initially having been accused of deception. And that person was a federal law enforcement officer at the time he applied for FBI employment. It seems that the vast majority of FBI applicants who fail their initial polygraphs and are granted a re-test fail that, too.

With regard to jkf@yahoo.com's suggestion, I don't know whether this person is well-intentioned but ill-informed, or an ill-intentioned troll, but the notion that eating a heavy breakfast without drinking water or soda (who drinks soda for breakfast, anyway?) and several hours of continuous reading will help one pass a polygraph examination is wildly absurd.

does anyone know someone who took the FBI poly for a second time and passed after failing the first one?
