The attached agenda for today's (26 July 2007) meeting of the City of Los Angeles Civil Service Commission includes (at p. 7) the following item:

QuoteDarrin HAYES, Polygraph Examiner II, Police Department.  Discharge effective July
17, 2007.  Filed CSC July 17, 2007.
In accordance with Charter Section 1016, Mr. Hayes filed his appeal in the
Office of the Commission on July 16, 2007.

An earlier post to this message board suggests that Hayes is a 2002 graduate of the Backster School of Lie Detection and a former colleague of faux Ph.D. Ed Gelb.
