As I posted a couple of weeks ago, I have the opportunity to work for a govt. contractor.  Eventually they would like me to get a secret clearance.

I am looking for concrete examples of anyone who has been cleared to any level by another agency after inconclusives on polygraphs and/or unsuitable rulings by the FBI.  Especially for DoD Secret  clearances.  But anecdotal evidence from any agency would be helpful.

I realize it's a crapshoot for me at this point, but knowing if a clearance is or is not possible would help me decide one way or another.
