Expect it to take 2-4 months before progress is made.  The hiring process includes a thorough review of your application/resume, security background check, and evaluating your skills/experience against other applicants who applied for the same job you did.  You may or may not be required to come in for an interview and/or polygraph exam.  Some federal agencies send rejection letters, others do not, so don't be overly concerned at this early stage.

Can anyone explain to me the hiring process for the DIA. I put in an application several weeks ago but I have no idea about the process. Ive tried to contact someone at the DIA but get the run around. I applied online and my status is complete-tentativly pased basic qualifications. What does all of this mean and whats the time table. I would appreciate the help, thanks.
