pappletime,

If you asked me what I did on Monday three weeks ago, I would have no idea!  I seriously doubt that anyone can remember exact dates, especially when stressed.  Heck on arrest reports WE ALL put "at approximately blah blah time" because to be honest with all the things going on you DON'T remember the exact time.  I am sure this has more to do with how recent it was and not the exact date.  If you were around someone who used drugs years ago, then you will be fine, but if it was last month. then it shows you have poor judgment for picking friends.

Be honest with the polygrapher or background investigator and tell them the truth.  It is OK to say you don't remember the exact date.  You are only human.

Ok so I keep hearing this question over and over

When was the last time you were around when someone was using illegal drugs?

Well this department has asked the questions a few times and I tell the truth each time they ask. I think the dates are different when I answered them but I wasn't trying to withhold anything.

Keep in mind that I haven't smoked pot or anything and I am not trying to hide anything. I wanted to make sure they have the right info before I take the polygraph.

I just dont want to be DQ'ed on a b.s technacality
