Yorkie,

I ask this because the polygraph examiner said i lied about the theft question and the criminal activity question. the question "Other then what you told us Have you ever stolen anything?" is the only theft question they asked. Wouldnt that mean this was a Relevent question.

Also to add the examiner said The test is about to began. As the test ended the examiner said The Test is now over. there was only 2 sets of questions and 2 series for each set. Would this mean the test was a Relevent/Irrelevent Test?

Did you intentially answer any of the questions falsly?

I believe this is relevant.

Do you intend to answer all the questions truthfully?

This was likely the unscored "sacrifice relevant" if it was the first question asked in a series. Your response to this question would not be scored.

Other then what you told me Have you ever stolen anything?

This is a control.

Have you taken part in criminal activity that the police does not know about?

I would have asked for a clarification. If by "criminal" they mean "serious crime," it is a relevant. If by "criminal" they say "whatever you think it means," or something vague, it is a control. Good luck on the retest.

Gentlemen . I did not pass the poly. I have a couple of questions for my retest though.

They asked me some of these questions .

Did you intentially answer any of the questions falsly?

Do you intend to answer all the questions truthfully?

Other then what you told me Have you ever stolen anything?

Have you taken part in criminal activity that the police does not know about?

Are all of these questions Control Questions or what. I may have used cm's on the wrong question. Gentlemen I need help. I take my retest fairly soon can anyone answer the question for me?

Knowledge is just that.  It's what you do with it that matters.  I think everyone agrees on that part of the issue.  Good luck, and may the force be with you.

(I'm thinking of taking a rabbit's foot around my neck when I go  ;D )
