Within the federal government, polygraph screening examinations may be either "counterintelligence-scope" or "full-scope" (sometimes called a "lifestyle" polygraph). The full-scope includes -- in addition to counterintelligence-related questions -- questions about illegal drug use and, in some cases sexual behavior.

Based on the usage of "suitability portion" in the following CIA job announcement, it appears that "a polygraph examination for counter-intelligence and suitability issues" is indeed a euphemism for a full-scope or lifestyle polygraph:

Hi all,

I have been reading around about the polygraph, and see mention of a CI poly with suitability portion. Anyone know what the suitability portion is? Is it the same thing as a lifestyle?

Thanks...
