Quote from: xarasia on Feb 17, 2005, 03:06 PMOk, here's my issue. A few years ago when I was living in the North, a drug-dealer named Sammy was killed by a guy named Joe near my college. I knew both of them as Joe had dated my best friend for many years. The cops had an idea of who did it, but they didn't have proof. One night me, my friend and Joe were hanging out, and he told me all the details of the murder. Out of fear for my life, I never said anything. Now, a few years later, I work for a compnay that makes military parts for the gov't. A few weeks ago some stuff went missing and the gov't has been doing lie detector tests to anyone who had access to the stuff (which does include me). I'm real scared that they are going to ask me some sort of generic control question that is going to "reference" the whole thing a few years ago. I've been told that even if they did, what I say can't be used in reference to the past incident, but I'm scared they could let the police know and then they would want to question me (they never did in the past). I'm real scared for me and my family - help!
