You are absolutely correct.

My apologies to halfpathan, the public and much gratitude to you Mr. Maschke Sir.

It sure could have been real ugly if someone followed my advise on protein intake verbatim.

Just got off of a 24hr. when I joined your message board.

I will proofread my advise before I push that "post" button.

Gooday

Medic,

I think you meant to suggest one gram (not one ounce) of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Hey bro,

If this turns out to be an issue (or not), some advise.........

Get serious.....
Go on a pre academy physical training program.

1 cup of carbs every 2 hours - waking till 2:00 PM (white rice, wheat pasta, shredded wheat, yogurt, etc.)

NO FAT on them noodles! ( butter, cheese, etc.) tomato sauce OK.

NO CARBS AFTER 2:00 PM

After 2:00 PM 1 ounce of protein per pound of your weight.

Because of the high protein, you MUST drink lot's of water.

Nothing 2 hours before sleep.

This diet will only work if you work out lot's.

Besides, you are going to need to be ready to pass the academy.

Congrats on the poly!
Good luck on the training!
