George:

Thanks for the info, I will look in to that study.  What do u think is the main difference between the Sting Technique and the techniques discusses in TLBTLD?  Has one been proven more beneficial over the other? Thanks for you prompt replies.

You sound like you need some anger management therapy.  Consider calling Jack Nicholson.

JD,

The tongue biting and mental countermeasure techniques described in The Lie Behind the Lie Detector are based on peer-reviewed research by Charles R. Honts and collaborators. See the annotated bibliography for citations (including article abstracts).

Dear Jack

I do not know what led you to assume that I do not intend on telling the truth.  I have nothing to hide.  I am simply curious to know why the experts disagree on their CM methods.  Also, as a polygraph expert, perhaps you can answer why the polygraph is not utilized in court?

On what do you base your opinion that they are both BS?

Having researched both what Doug Williams offers and what Antipolygraph.org offers, I have come to realize some variations between the two countermeasure strategies offered.  Doug does not mention anything about mental countermeasures nor does he of tongue biting.  In fact, having been on contact with Doug, he does not endorse the tongue biting or the mental techniques at all.  I would be interested in reading your opinions about this matter.
