I am having trouble with getting hired due to me being baker-acted at the age of 19. I am now 26 years old. I foolishly took some asprin to get my girlfriend's attention at the time. Since then I joined the US Air Force as Security Police K-9, qualified with several weapons, worked with the Secret Service and was Honorably Discharged. I am presently employed as an armed security guard. Is it worth it for me to keep trying to get on a department and to continue getting disqualified? All of my background investigators have tried everything to help me. I have scored very high in all areas of the hiring process and tests including the psch. test. The backer act is the only thing holding me back. Someone, please help!
