Looks like anything over five times opens a can of worms on polygraph exams.

I hope that is not too much because I said my MJ useage is approximately 30-35 times but less than 40 times.  We will see what happens.

Apparently my past drug use has inhibited my abilities to hit the spell checker. Sorry, first timer here and I'm in a rush.

Umm, I'm thinking it's because you don't know the difference between probation and propation?  ;)

Boy, I'm glad I ran into this board before I reapplied!
Here's my situation. Last year I applied for a Deputy Propation Officer opening with the County of Ventura. CA
After 6 long months I got blown out after the polygraph.
I had some marijuana drug use aprox 15 years ago and although everyone tells me the investigator looks at the "over all picture" of me, I'm just convinced that's what did me in. Along with the question, "when's the last time you smoked marijuana"? (which I stated above) they also questioned me on, "how many times did you smoke marijuana"? This  was a little difficult to answer as I didn't keep a tally! I did give an answer that was more or less a stab in the dark and said 35 but I really can't be sure. So I guess my question is: Is there an "acceptable" amount of times and I exceeded it or did my body give me away. If so how can I ever expect to pass this year as I'm still guessing! Any advice would be helpful.
