If it was me, I would put something like "Hired as cashier. Due to other skills I possess, I was transferred by management to department X after 3 weeks."
Of course, if this isn't 100% true, your "integrity" as a LEO will be suspect. One mustn't tell fibs on one's application ;)

I was hired at a job where i worked for 3 years. When i first got hired it was for a cashier position. After 3 weeks of training i was transfered into another department in the store. here is my question.


On a police application when they ask me describe your duties and responsibilities in this job. Do i only put the department that i was transfered to, Which i work at the most. Or do i also include the 3 weeks that i was a cashier at the same company. During my 3 years working at this company i worked in the recycling center except for  my first 3 weeks at this job which was training to be a cashier but changed immediately
