sami,

It doesn't take long to score polygraph charts. The polygraph operator scores them while you're in the polygraph suite, and if you fail, you'll hear about it right away and be subjected to a post-test interrogation.

But as a rule, federal polygraph operators don't tell applicants that they've passed.

If you were not subjected to a post-test interrogation, it's a good indication that you passed.

Hello everybody, Can anyone help shine a light on why it takes so long for official polygraph results to come. I have been told it can take anywhere from 3 weeks to months. Since background is done after the polygraph for my specific agency, It shouldn't be in adjudication yet or can they adjudicated before the background process? I am talking about top secret adjudication. Thanks
