CVSA "testing" is more standardized than polygraph "testing"  to the extent that the training nationwide is provided by a single company, the "National Institute of Truth Verification." Those who have undergone CVSA "testing" with other agencies have had an experience very similar to what you can expect with the California Highway Patrol, so you may wish to review posts by those who have undergone CVSA with any agency.
