Thanks George! Even though I passed, the whole polygraph thing upsets me. We'll see what I can do on the inside.

Congratulations on making it past this pseudoscientific ordeal, and I wish you all the best in the rest of the hiring process. Whether it's performed with a polygraph instrument or a voice stress analyzer, lie detection is voodoo science and it's high time that law enforcement agencies ended their misplaced reliance on it.

I made a posting last month titled "Angry as hell and have to take it.". I took the polygraph twice for a Sheriff's Dept. and failed. Well.....I took a CVSA yesterday for a different Sheriff's Dept and passed. I was asked almost the same exact questions and still passed. Now I have been given a conditional job offer. This whole wannabe truth detecting system is witchcraft.
