Polysucks,

Sorry to hear of your polygraph experience with the NSA.

I was in a similar situation with the CIA. I sugguest you make an FOIA request to the NSA as per their web page at: http://www.nsa.gov/docs/efoia/foia_handbookelec.html#submit. You essentially write them a letter telling who you are and that you are seeking all information related to your polygraph.

Here's the potential bad news though. The NSA could, like the CIA, have exempted themselves from releasing all polygraph-related records, even to you -- the person who underwent the polygraph. It's all part of the polygraph community's efforts to keep polygraph proceedings internal to it -- away from folks who could question its legitimacy. This is exactly what happened to me: I received a letter from CIA swiftly denying my request for MY OWN polygraph records. So, put in an FOIA request to NSA and see what happens. Whatever their response is, please do share it here on the board.

I failed a poly at the NSA in the spring of 2000.  How do I go about requesting all records regarding my polygraph under the Freedom of Information/Privacy Acts?

Do they HAVE TO COMPLY?
