Pres. Bush has agreed to release a few million barrels of emergency oil that is stored in salt dome formations in So. E. Texas and Louisiana. This is very, very cheap oil that has been there for many years. What would people bet that the price at the pump will reflect the true price of this oil. (should be under $1.50 a gal considering the higher cost of today's refining). Another bet: That the government will hold oil companies accountable for the prices the crooks charge for this oil? I would bet against both because our politicians are too deep in the oil companies wallet.
