Well it turns out that the examiner was not bsing me. I passed the exam. Good luck to anyone that has to take a polygraph!

Sounds like you're in good shape. Trust me, many polygraph examiners don't care about ruining careers and lives, much less a weekend.

After the polygraph exam was complete, the examiner said "I have to score your answers, but overall things look really good."

There was no post-test interview or anything...overall, the whole process took less than 1-hour.

I know it sounds good that he said that, but there is a chance he said it to make me feel good and not ruin my weekend.
Anyone have any experience with the examiner saying this, but in the end you failed?
