It could take up to several weeks, as in my case.  The polygrapher might give his/her opinion immediately after it's over.  But my FBI polygraphers told me it is ultimately in the hands of the "folks at headquarters."  I failed both of mine.

How long does it take to get results from a federal polygraph? I have heard and read about being told you a failure the day of the test, and some persons wait for a long period to get results.
