According to an article recently published in Commentary magazine, former CIA employee Melissa Boyd Mahle, in her new book, Denial and Deception: An Insider's View of the CIA from Iran-Contra to 9/11, reports that currently close to 75% of CIA applicants are rejected on the basis of polygraph results.
