I need to write an argumentive paper for school and decided to do it on the unreliability of polygraph tests, and the belief that they should not be used during the hiring process for gov. jobs. I need to turn in a page tomorrow to my professor stating a little about the polygraph and its history, also the arguments that I am going to use in my paper.  Any help on the history of the polygraph test would be greatly appreciated. This will be for my Government class by the way.
