The Ulterior Motive of CIA Polygraph Examiners

CIA polygraph examiners operate on ulterior motives. They have a hidden agenda and concealed reason and purpose that differs from the stated purpose of the polygraph exam that they explain to the examinee. The unstated reason is different from the stated reason. The polygraph examiner will tell the examinee the device to designed to detect whether he or she is being truthful or untruthful to the questions asked. After the examinee registers a physiological reaction, the polygraph examiner will engage in Direct Positive Confrontation. The polygraph examiner will accuse the examinee of not being truthful on a particular question(s). The polygraph examiner will state despite the fact the examinee was untruthful, he or she still has an opportunity to be successful on the polygraph by sharing whatever it is that they did not disclose, which is causing a physiological reaction and preventing them from being successful. This is the polygraph examiner’s transition into an interrogation to elicit disqualifying admissions. The stated purpose is for the examinee to disclose anything and get off their chest whatever it is that is causing the physiological reactions so that they can be successful. The examiner pretends to be on the examinee’s side to help them succeed.

This is all a trap. It is a cover-up for the ulterior motive, an interrogation to elicit disqualifying admissions and derogatory information that the security clearance adjudicators and background investigators could not have known otherwise. They want to know the secret things you have done that were never discovered by anyone else, which would disqualify you for a clearance according to the 12 Adjudicative Guideline standards. The polygraph exam is an interrogation under the cloak of a lie detector. They will interrogate you and persist in getting whatever damaging information they can about you from your own mouth. What you say can and will be used against you. They are not there to help you, they are there to elicit disqualifying admissions and make you shoot yourself in the foot.

Similar to other applicants on here. I'm a victim of an abusive and coercive interrogation. To borrow from Plato's Allegory of the Cave, I'm a prisoner who escaped from my chains, made his way outside the cave, and saw what was causing the shadows on the wall. I am returning to the cave to inform the rest of the prisoners of what I witnessed, warn them of what is to come, and free them from their bondage of ignorance.

Well, I tip my cap to you. I've been trying to do the same, and you should read my story "Everyday Sadist - Worst Polygraph Ever?" My polygraph left me with severe PTSD and suicidal ideation, which persists to this day. I attempted to address the issue through all available official avenues, and was met with nothing but corruption and lies. I've realized that the only way to effectuate any kind of change is to speak out publicly and put a name and a face to this kind of abusive behavior. I would encourage you to do the same.

User35,

I read your story last night. I'm sorry for what you went through. When you go through injustices like that, it changes you forever. I had my polygraph experience ten years ago. I took two polygraphs on different days at the CIA, and they interrogated me for around 10 hours. I also met with two adjudicators for a third meeting, where they interrogated me even more in a small, cramped room. This much I know, they were coercing me into making false confessions. I knew they would not let me get my clearance no matter what, and they would coerce me into incriminating myself at all costs. Even though this experience happened ten years ago, my anger at the injustice I faced resurfaces from time to time, like recently. I will not remain silent. I will share the evils I experienced and guide those applicants who are ignorant of the polygraph with what I know now. CIA, you did this to yourself. You made me the person I am today. Thank you for allowing me to expose your own corruption.
