If you or someone you know is a victim of not being able to become employed at a job in law enforcement or any other job that uses the polygraph as a part of their pre-employment process due to this unreliable, man-made TOOL--then please feel free to sign this petition to show your support! The link below will direct you to the petition.

Thank you!

In addition to those victims who are denied the opportunity for employment, this will include the victims who are already employed and working with a clearance too.  It is a national embarrassment that our government uses an inherently fallible tool to punish innocent individuals.

It is indisputable material fact that senior officials from the DIA Office of Security, Insider Threat Program are using the polygraph "results" by themselves to take unfavorable actions against otherwise innocent employees during periodic investigations.

What?  You say that there already are Federal regulations that prohibit taking unfavorable actions against someone based solely on the polygraph?  Of course there are - DODI 5210.91 strictly forbids it - just try to get someone to enforce it.

"The polygraph examination is a supplement to, not a substitute for, other methods of investigation.  No, unfavorable administrative action shall be taken based solely on its results."  ~ DODI 5210.91.
