Hello,

I am an amateur polygraph examiner and don't have much experience. I've done some exams on my friends but I would like someone who is much more experienced then me in this field to review the screenshots of my charts and give me his professional opinion. I don't know if this is the right forums to ask but if someone would like to do that please message me.

Thank you in advance

I have conducted thousands of tests and I can tell you that the most accurate way to score the polygraph charts is to flip a coin.  Heads they are lying - tails they are telling the truth.  All the scientific studies, and even the US Supreme Court agree on this.  The polygraph, when used as a "lie detector", is no more accurate than the toss of a coin.  I prefer a silver dollar, but you can use any coin you like.

This is the question that was asked:  Hello,
The coin flip answer made me laugh really  Smiley

Anyway I would like to ask based on the first known question if you could please review my screenshot and tell me your professional opinion.

Regards

And this is the answer I gave:
There no way to determine truth or deception by looking at a polygraph chart.  The polygraph simply measures nervousness, (the fight or flight response) and nervousness doesn't equate to deception.  Fifty percent of the time, it may indicate deception, but the rest of the time it is simply a response to a stimulus - this response may indicate fear, rage, embarrassment, etc.  So even if your polygraph chart shows a "reaction",  the polygraph doesn't tell you why the person reacted.
