Time to update references in The Lie Behind the Detector?

Are there any plans to update the references in The Lie Behind the Detector.  Several of the links are broken (just a few examples below) and I'm sure by now that updated material is available.  Perhaps it's time to revise the whole document?

Barland, Gordon H., Charles R. Honts, and Steven D. Barger. (1989) Studies of the Accuracy of Security Screening Polygraph Examinations. Department of Defense Polygraph Institute, 24 March1 989. Available on-line in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format at: http://truth.boisestate.edu/raredocuments/bhb.html

Beardsley, Tim. (1999) “Truth or Consequences: A Polygraph Screening Program Raises Questions about the Science of Lie Detection,” Scientific American, October, 1999. Available on-line at:
http://www.sciam.com/1999/1099issue/1099infocus.html

Scientific Validity of Polygraph Testing: A Research Review and Evaluation—
A Technical Memorandum. (1983) Washington, D.C:
U.S. Congress, Office of Technology Assessment, OTA-TM-H-
15, November 1983. Available on-line in Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
format (1.1 MB) at:

or in HTML format at:

Anthony,

Thank you for pointing out these broken links! Actually, very little has changed in the field of polygraphy since the release of the 4th edition in 2005, and there are no current plans for a new edition. We'd like (at some point) to offer a revised and reformatted (perhaps in Open Document Format) edition, and at that time, we'll ensure that hyperlinks are up-to-date.

In the meantime, the study by Barland, Honts, and Barger may be found here:

http://truth.boisestate.edu/raredocuments/screening.html

Beardsley's article appears to no longer be available from the Scientific American website, but you should be able to find it at any public library.

And the OTA report on polygraph testing may be downloaded here:

No, unfortunately, it is not available in any other languages.
