Should a person with a Personality Disorder bother attempting to obtain a government job?

I'm not sure if personality disorders and associated psychological symptoms put sufferers at risk of failing polygraph examinations, but assuming that they pass the examination, would they be disqualified from consideration for a position at the FBI/CIA/DOD if they admit that they have a diagnosed personality disorder?

Assuming that the personality disorder alone does not disqualify the applicant from consideration for a government job, are their answers to psychological evaluations, assuming that they are consistent with the answers a personality disordered person would give, likely going to disqualify them?

If you are wondering what the personality disorder is, it's called schizoid personality disorder. It's not the same thing as schizophrenia; it's something different. It basically means that people who have this personality disorder prefer solitude, have few or no friends, few or no romantic interests, and are not very expressive. As far as I know it does not impair the intellect or make its sufferers dangerous or unstable, but one negative aspect of it is that its sufferers are far from being type A personalities. You typically find them working with computers or doing menial labor that requires few or no social contact. They are not people persons.

Can someone tell me if people with this personality disorder (and similar problems) are automatically excluded from consideration for government positions? If not automatically excluded, are they likely to be excluded after taking polygraph/psychological evaluations? Assuming that the answer varies according to the government agency, what are some government agencies where people with this personality disorder might actually not be undesirable?
