Question Aboout State Department Policy

Hi guys, found this site looking for some information and thought I'd see if anyone here can help me out.

I was just wondering if the State Department issues polygraph tests for any reason. It's not that I have anything to hide, but just that I plan on starting a career with them in the future, and see that a lot of people fail these even when they are being honest.

I saw from some sites that they don't, but I was wondering if that applied to all security levels or the foreign service.

Thanks in advance for any information.
