Possible Question on Polygraph

I'm just curious as to how to approach this question because I am worried that just thinking about this event could trigger a false positive. But on the flip side I am wary to freely acknowledge this because technically I have never physically harmed her.

What should I do?

If the question is asked as you have phrased you should answer as you have explained here.

During the actual polygraph you will be asked "yes" or "no" questions, not questions requiring a detailed answer.  During the pre-test is when you would explain your answers (if necessary) to the polygraph operator.
