Abdominal squeeze to raise BP?

I was wondering if anyone has tested an abdominal squeeze during a test in response to a control question? I am thinking of giving it a shot on this up coming polygraph.

Also, can anyone tell me what the notation next to the questions mean? I was sent a form to fill out before my polygraph and it looks like it has the question pool the examiner is going to use on the back of the form.
For example:

CR: Have you ever lied to someone you care about?
C1: Have you ???
R: Have you ???

I would like to find a web site that discusses the labeling of the questions. It appears that the form I received is telling me the control questions in advance! Smiley

What about it George?

Why do you think constricting your abdominal muscles would be a prudent countermeasure? Considering the proximity of the lower pneumo tube, I think it's ill-advised.

As for the annotations next to the questions, I can't tell without seeing all the questions with associated notations. In any event, I'd be cautious about trying to classify questions based on them. A common trick used by polygraphers in an attempt to mislead examinees who might be planning on using countermeasures is to falsely represent the unscored irrelevant questions as "control" questions while calling the actual control questions "character questions."
