I've tried to verify some of the quotes found on this site because they are very powerful if true.  But, I can't find the source in many cases in order to independently verify them before quoting them myself.  In general, it would be nice if the site could have a reference page that points to where all the quotes come from and enough information to allow visitors to find those sources through independent means.  There are three in particular that I would like to verify for use ASAP.  If you could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.  Here they are:

"...the use of this highly flawed instrument should be radically curtailed."
           - former CIA Director R. James Woolsey

"[The CIA's] reliance on the polygraph is truly insane."
           - former CIA Director John M. Deutch

"I'm sorry I ever had any part in its development."
           - John Larson, invented the polygraph lie detector in 1921

Thanks very much!  This is very helpful.  I've been putting together a small 'case' against lie detection for personal reasons and in order to increase it's credibility, I'm keeping my own opinions to a minimum - relying primarily on documented (and objective for the most part - at the very least credible) sources which I comment on and string together in a cohesive argument.  It's about 5 to 10 pages depending on how you separate each piece.  I'll share it with you if you would like.

I'd be happy to review your compilation. You're welcome to post it here, if you like, so that all may read it.
