	Does anyone have any examples of what may be asked to steer the exam taker into a denile during a control question? It is my understanding that it is during the denile of a control question that CMs are employed, therfore having some examples would assist the taker on when to start with Cms.

	you will react to a control question because it is generally a vague and overreaching sort of question, and the examiner has tried to make you believe that if you have done these things, you will fail the test. For example: Have you ever lied to a loved one? Have you ever stolen anything?

	See the example provided at pp. 143-144 of the 4th edition of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector. Examples of "control questions commonly used in pre-employment polygraph screening are provided at pp. 100-101. Note that not all of them are expected to be answered "no."
