The Ironic Fact of the Polygraph

The Ironic thing about the Polygraph is that one must lie in order to survive or pass the polygraph.   This says alot about our society.  Does one have to lie in order to survive in our society?

Seems like honesty means nothing in a society that lives in deception.  Many cops seem to be above the law and better than most of us.   This is their deception in life.  Just because they passed the poly and became a cop doesn't mean they're decent people.  They lie and cheat and steal.....many in the name of the law!   They get judges to see their side and everyone else is wrong.  Until you know this, you will be deceived.  I should know, my step father was a cop for 25 years and he felt he never did anything wrong.  Ever.  Self-righteous and self-centered.    Never did a bad thing in his life, according to him! Maybe you should walk in his shoes, or the shoes of any policeman before you feel free to stereotype all into one category. No one single job out there will you have everyone as being perfect. Human beings are not perfect by nature and make mistakes. Yet you feel free to criticize the ones who would put their own life on the line for you, someone they do not know. I am sure your step father would be proud.

You mean like some of the cops in New Orleans that were looting and stealing Cadillacs?

You are not arguing a point. You are being argumentative.
