Hmm.  Once a long time ago, I was the number one police recruit in two municipalities.  My parents were fugatives at the time, I was a single mom who worked her way off of welfare, had a horrific childhood riddled with abuse (locked in basement and not allowed in the rest of the house for years) and well....I passed the MMPI test, get this, without studying.  Do some reflecting candidate, some sole searching, connect some emotional dots and should you fail this test, please inquire exactly as to why.  Through that, you will have a better understanding of yourself and why it is that your test results caused concern.  Remember as law enforcement you are faced every day you work with life and death decisions, you are faced with stress and disrespect, and temptation.  You work in the belly of the beast of life, and there is nothing worse than a police officer who is prone to impulsivity, anger, badge heavy antics, and above all, dishonesty.  I wish you the best of luck.

I have my MSW and work in the Mental Health field and this test have seen this test used quite often.  I also have known it to be used in headache/migraine clinics as well.   

And I must say that asking for the questions on the assessment and trying to "cheat" is the CRAZIEST and most absurd thing I've ever heard of!!   

Could you please email us the rest of the MMPI 2 test too.  My son didn't pass the personality test for one of his job applications and doesn't know what he did wrong. It had 172 personality questions. He is like the perfect person--never been in trouble, honest, intelligent, athlete. He obviously doesn't know how to answer the questions.
And please send tips on what they are looking for and how to answer.

Guys…so you know that old Russian website script for the MMPI2 with a few scoring errors in the script…well here’s something to put that bad boy out to pasture.

Below are links to another similar script (in fact it looks almost identical to the Russian version at first glance, except this one has amazing scoring detail, and I do mean amazing scoring results. Just click on the “Score” button, without doing the test, just to see some of the awesome graphical scoring displays at the end.  

It actually GRAPHICALLY CREATES THE VARIOUS SCALE PROFILES clearly showing the T-score cut-off values, along with all the other relevant data. It is the most amazing web-based script scoring tool that I have ever seen.  I mean, wow, what an amazing web-based educational tool!  This is a must see for any psychology student or self-motivated learner interested in the subject.

Note:  I have not actually tested or fully used the script yet; however, at first glance it looks to work and it appears to produce the most detailed results out of any open scoring script that I have ever come across – it’s a great learning and educational tool.

These minor items can easily be fixed by saving the webpage and then editing with Notepad the “scales.js” file where the respective items are mixed about.  HINT:  by opening the “scales.js” file with Notepad, after saving the webpage, one can easily see a clear breakdown of how all the items are scored and which scales they belong to.  Supplementary content sub-scales can also be added just as easily to the same file by following the logic of the other entries.

It may not be perfect, but it’s still the best web-based simulation of the MMPI2 currently openly available.
