Changed answer to question INSIGHT PLEASE

I took a poly at this place before and I made something up that did not happen to just cover something else up.  Now I realize that I may have hurt my chances more by making this scenario up rather than just revealing the real one.  If I gotta go back to this place, how should I explain this situation?  Then will I be believed?? Has this ever happened to anyone before?

You shouldn't have to. Just read the nonsense on this site and you wont have to explain a thing. You will pass with flying colors. Right george?
It looks like this site is getting more and more questions like this. Why? Could it be that the maschke's miracle book isn't as effective as everybody suggests???
Oh, by the way did I mention that I polygraphed an attorney today. After he failed he admitted trying to use countermeasures. I know that this is hard to believe but it is true. If you need additional information you can email me.
Keep up the good work george.

Polylawman, you must not have read George's book. At least Will didn't even suggest he read it.  His form of ad hoc CM's is pretty unique but from the polygraph literature, it appears ad hoc CM's are common if generally pathetic.

Hmmm.  Have you read Cialdini's book on persuasion?  I found his work highly interesting and note he was often referred to as an expert in compliance psychology in polygraph literature. Probably of use in the interrogation component of your craft but with other uses as well.....

That's a nice offer. Seems you are not registered though so it is obviously rather difficult.  My email is listed. Feel free.

Correction: I see you put it on your post. Sorry.

You polygraphed a lawyer? YOU POLYGRAPHED A LAWYER!!!!!!. Now THATS laughable. You are lucky your damn machine didn't fall apart. It's laughable that you assume that a lawyer provided an example of superior skills who cannot successfully use countermeasures to beat a polygraph. He probably devised his own countermeasures because he believes no one can counter as well as lawyers.
This hardly represents a victory.

As for countermeasures -  would you like to respond, intelligently, to my post on the Polygraph Procedures board under "Countering the Polygraph" thread?
