Ernest Myatt, a lieutenant and polygrapher with the Michigan State Police is reportedly among nine individuals indicted in connection with the theft of 101 kilograms of cocaine from a Detroit police evidence room. See the WXYZ-TV web article, "Guns, Cash May Be Missing From Police Evidence Room."

One suspects that Lt. Myatt won't be asked to take a polygraph "test" in connection with the theft...

???Hey George,
Very interesting articles. I wonder if the FBI used the polygraph on the civilian types involved in the case and then used their admissions to nail the State Police Polygrapher? I hope they at least did some old fashioned police work to make the case. It appears that someone did, the article names some of the property that the suspects purchased with or traded the drugs for. Now there is a concept, actually investigate Wink

I was curious about the outcome of the federal indictment brought against Michigan State Police Polygrapher Lt. Myatt. I was surprised to learn that after two full years the United States Attorney asked the Federal Judge to dismiss all charges against Lt. Myatt. I wonder why? But why did it take two years? Maybe an old fashion investigation did not take after all.
