polygrapher accused me of "cheating", pushed me to admit any wrong doing and threatened me to stop the session and send me home.

These are exactly the same type of threats to which I was subjected when I was polygraphed at both the CIA and NSA. 

Following my interview at NSA, I was definitively converted into a believer in the utter uselessness of the vile "box" and the people that "operate" it! :-[
