It's 98% accurate according to some pseudo-scientific studies.

It's a darn shame that such an awesomely accurate and reliable investigative tool was "per se" not allowed as evidence in court for several decades.

P.S.  If you failed your polygraph with THIS department, that might well follow you wherever else you apply, if they also use the polygraph as a screening tool.
