Hmm.  Once a long time ago, I was the number one police recruit in two municipalities.  My parents were fugatives at the time, I was a single mom who worked her way off of welfare, had a horrific childhood riddled with abuse (locked in basement and not allowed in the rest of the house for years) and well....I passed the MMPI test, get this, without studying.  Do some reflecting candidate, some sole searching, connect some emotional dots and should you fail this test, please inquire exactly as to why.  Through that, you will have a better understanding of yourself and why it is that your test results caused concern.  Remember as law enforcement you are faced every day you work with life and death decisions, you are faced with stress and disrespect, and temptation.  You work in the belly of the beast of life, and there is nothing worse than a police officer who is prone to impulsivity, anger, badge heavy antics, and above all, dishonesty.  I wish you the best of luck.
